All Browser Log Ins Logging Me Out ...
7 Answers
a couple of times now, for no reason i can see, anything i use online that requires me to register and log in, will log me out and ask me to log back in again. most things are set to keep me logged in or remember me, so not sure why this is happening.
i have run scans and there is nothing there
any ideas what can do this? and how can i stop this? is it some kind of cookies setting?
thanks

it seems a bit odd that - instead of just clearing the cache etc - a response to a lack of space would be to auto log me out - yet save the log in info and cookie. To log back in all i had to do is click the button, not actually type my info in, so i doubt thats the reason ...

If you'd not un/reinstalled Firefox, I'd have first suggested taking a look at your cookie settings:
https:/ /suppor t.mozil la.org/ en-US/k b/enabl e-and-d isable- cookies -websit e-prefe rences
Then, if that didn't help, I'd have suggested refreshing Firefox, which is simpler and safer than un/reinstalling. (To do that, click on the three lines at the top right. Click 'Help'. Click 'Troubleshooting Information'. Click 'Refresh Firefox').

If Firefox keeps running out of memory, try limiting the number of content processes. (Three lines again. Scroll down to 'Performance'. Deselect 'Use recommended performance setting' and set the content process limit to 1 or 2. I'm using just 1).
Remember that if you're using Firefox for an extended period it can help to dump some memory occasionally. (Type 'about:memory' into the address bar and hit 'Enter'. Click 'Minimize Memory Usage')
