thease days when i listen to myself i think i sound quite racist, were i live we did not have a very large population of muslims, but that has defintily risen we now have a newly built mousqe and one of the halha butchers, i dont mean i think n.i.m.b.y. its just since all thease terrorist incidents its hard to be so none judgemental, i try to think not all the same or its only so many, we have a powerstation just up the road and i think if that went up i would too maybe its only human nature to think like this but somtimes even though i admit i do it makes me a bit uncomfortable

I have to wonder what this government we have are playing at.They wouldn't(and haven't ) put up with this crap in France!! Go to anyone of these IIslamic countries and and you have too abide by their laws, they come here to have a better life and WE have to watch our p's and Q's!I'm sorry but I for one am really angry, it was only a matter of time it happened again.
you know, i live in west central scotland.
I know what sectarianism does.I am not interested in it in the slightest.it's old hat, have not time for history.I'm more interested in what's happening here and now.The sort of hatred you have for old hat, i'm growing it right now for people who are posing a real threat to me and all around me here and now thanks very much!

you know umm or whatever you name is, you are just as bad.I have no time for you.no-one is intersted in your sectarian views in this discussion.tit for tat! a lot of lives were lost but i tell you, what we are facing today is a lot bigger and affects everyone of EVERY religion.no-one is interested in republican/loyalist causes apart from the small few.Thanfully there is some sort of peace at this moment.I dont/wont try to pretend i understand/and dont care what is was all about , I just know that religion makes seemingly intelligent people lose their ability to function in normal society.Everyone needs a cause, right?
I don't consider myself racist, but according to some I have racist views...mainly because of the immigration issue, which I have argued has nothing to do with racism at all (as I don't disagree with immigration per se).
I don't have a problem with the Muslim community ~ I embrace the Mosques,Halal butchers etc. What I do object to is the local community centre being changed into a Muslim womens centre ~ the playgroup had to finish in order for this which I found disturbing, to say the least.

Cont: again!
What does that say about them? it says what most Muslims say..peace & harmony is paramount in this life.
Fear breeds contempt, and I will try my darndest to make sure this doesn't happen to me or my family. If you feel threatened then the terrorists have won. I would suggest making your world a little bit bigger :o)

Crusades ring any bells? Slaughtered thousands for calling God by the "wrong" name?
Allied ourselves to the ONLY nation to use nuclear warheads in anger, and that feel they have the right to police the use of such weapons in other countries?
Stood by and watched as the UN make a pig's dinner of the situation in the Middle East?
Oppressed every person with darker skin than the monarch as soon as they step foot into the country?
I'm white British, and am from Luton. 30% of my schoolmates were of ethnic minority. In my part time jobs in opticians, I was at times the only white employee.
I'm personally sick of this subtle discrimination, that can be as destructive and intimidating as BNP followers on marches.
It's one thing to have opinions, but making others listen to them is quite another. I don't condone violence of any kind (says the rugby playing infantryman.) I've seen first hand what these feelings lead to, and I sure as hell don't want to see it in the nation I swore to protect, and call home!
