How Can These Websites Such As Total Av Say ‘Free’ When No They Aren’T Free At All
I’m having trouble with the cookie pop up here, so I thought as a last resort I’d try a blocker,it says free but when you click on it they want your card number....no chance!!

Cookies don't 'pop up'!
Total AV is an anti-virus product, in the same way that AVG and Avast are. If you're actually looking for a free anti-virus program, then I use and recommend Avast:

If you're experiencing lots of pop-up ads, they're probably being generated by malware, so it's a free anti-malware program that you should be looking for. If you happen to already have the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on your computer, that will do the job. However a fresh download of that product comes with a free trial of the full (paid for) version, which seems to slow some computers down, so I now recommend using AdwCleaner instead. There's no installation process involved; you just run the downloaded file directly:

AB seems to have a problem with the way that it's configured, meaning that the invitation to accept cookies comes up more often than it's meant to. I get it twice when I first log into AB, rather than once. If I stay on AB, I don't see it again but if I leave the site and then come back, I do. (That's using Firefox on a PC). It's an ongoing problem, with some devices and/or browsers apparently experiencing the problem more than others. (People using Safari on their iPads seem to be the ones with the most complaints).
