good point fender what we need is a wall......hang on!
//imagine an independent scotland in the eu schengen group, the migrants would not stop at scotland.//

Aye? the english ones do

Let’s have an EU-wide vote on UK membership of the EU in that case.
It’s only fair :-)
Bully for Boris (instead of bullying Boris for a change). We don't hold referenda on the same issue time and time again until the squeaky wheels get the result they are desperate for.
I think BoJo should offer another Scottish referendum once we totally leave the EU. The wee one may then back Brexit!!
No, the referendum on Scottish independence was said to be for 'a generation'. I am half-Scottish, half-Yorkshire - t.b.h. I feel much more Yorkshire (because I was raised and lived here) than Scottish, but the majority of my family is in Scotland. Should I become a foreigner to them and need a passport to visit? We're just back from holiday in The Kingdom of Fife (lovely area to anyone who wants to know) and the ONLY bit of graffiti I saw was in Cupar and read 'NO TO THE SNP'.

As a partnership Scotland and England have been mutually beneficial as I see it - it's only the last 20 years or so in which rancour appears to have entered into things.
A look back at much simpler times, who could have predicted then, what would be the situation in 3 years time?
