My daughter has called me saying her iPhone 6S is closing Apps as soon as she tries to open them. Also deleted Apps are still showing on the screen. She has tried to reboot by using the both the side and home buttons depressed for 10 seconds but it won’t reboot. Other than a factory reset are there any other things she should try? Thanks.

Might be a long shot, but if she uses iTunes to get her apps on her iPhone, she might have to go into iTunes and delete the apps that way.

The other thing is older Apple products have a different way of deleting them- if she holds her finger over the icon (For the deleted app), a cross might appear at the top right hand corner of the icon. If she taps that then it might delete them from the screen.

Hops this helps.
