Matheson and Greenwood....one is 16 yrs old, the other is 17 yrs old. Both played for their 1st team in the 3rd rnd of the League Cup this week but because of their age, they have to be allocated seperate changing rooms from the other players. Did you know that? Seems odd when they are both of the age of consent and could be legally married (not to each other of course!). Is it child protection to excess?

There are communal changing rooms at most public swimming baths for all ages. (with booths if you want privacy)

Thanks Dave. I get that. There is always people who want some privacy. The swimming baths near here have a communal area which both sexes use at the same time, but they have cubicles at the side. Makes me feel a bit uneasy, that.
I think that recently football hasn't had a very savoury reputation for some of the things that have happened to under age players and this will make the rules enforced with vigour.
