I would imagine its 16 just like any heterosexual one
The legal age limit for sex of any kind is 16. Male gay sex has a further age restriction whereas female gay sex doesn't.
The age of consent is 16 whether straight or gay. I don't think there's any upper age limit !
Sorry guys, you're all wrong. There is no age limit.
Age of consent is now equal for all. This is age 16 in England, Wales and Scotland and 17 in Northern Ireland.

The age of consent varies across Europe. Denmark, France and Sweden the legal age is 15 and in Spain you can consent to sex at age 12.
In the UK I believe there was no legal limit set for lesbian relationships - Queen Victoria, whose government passed the original '21' limit for 'consenting men in private' didn't believe such a thing would go on, so no need to rule on it.
Since January 2001 the age of consent has been equalised at 16 years of age - and that includes lesbians, the first time the age of consent applied to them.

Under Britain's sex laws, however, any sexual contact involving a person under 16 is illegal, even mere caresses and petting. No one below that age - no matter how mature and well-informed - is deemed capable of consenting to a sexual act. Consensual sex involving under-age youths is automatically branded a crime by the law. It is either indecent assault, unlawful sexual intercourse or ******* (depending on the nature of the sexual act and the sexes and ages of the participants).

It's time the myth about Queen Victoria's inteference with the law was laid to rest. She, as with the monarch today, had no real power to change the acts passed by her government.

The Labouchere amendment to the Criminal Law Amendment Act only concerned acts of 'gross indecency' between men and was designed, in a round about way, to help in the protection of women from sexual exploitation. Not only did the question never come before Queen Victoria, but she would not have had the power to change it if it had.

Well, In A Pickle, my great-great-grand-Nan was there too and she said that your Great Grandfather was always making up stuff like that.
Inapickle - while I can see your point of view, it must be recognised that lesbian relationships can be abusive and if a mature woman has an intimate relationship with a young girl, say 13, that is just as bad as a grown man and a 13 year old girl.

Children do need to be protected from predatory adults of both sexes.
