Can’T Log In From Ipad

I previously asked this in How It Works. I’m asking again here as this may be the right place to do so.
I have recently joined the Answerbank, and logged in via my MacBook.
When I enter my username and password on the Log In page on my iPad and hit Sign In, it returns me to the Log In page. My username is still visible in the box, but the asterisks representing my password are gone.
I have tried: clearing the cache, using a different browser, and turning it off and on again(!) I am using the same email address, username and password on both devices.
