So sorry, ment to report back.

Took my first on Wednesday morning and apart from a very slight tummy ache late afternoon (which may have been unrelated) no problems.

Struggling with the other Med he has given me Accrete D3- they are huge and don't chop well.

I agree with Tilly2. The calcium/D3 tablets I have are one per day and you chew them.

Adcal3 is chewable Accrete3 is not (cheaper).

no, not really tilly (that i can remember it was some years ago now) Mind you, i didnt used to take them that often!

Mine are chewable. Do you not get them on prescription Mamy?

I was changed from AdcalD3 (twice a day) to theiCalD3 (once a day) obviously because it was cheaper, but they are fine and chewable. Just tell your doctor you can't swallow the other ones and ask him/her to change your prescription.

I'll use this lot up then ask him for chewable, I know they all have to save money but sometimes you just struggle.

no, apparently you are only supposed to take it for a limited number of years

My other half took it for about five years then at her medication review last year was taken off it. She’s not sure if the gp will want her to go back on it at some point but has decided not to anyway as she hated taking it and was a bit frightened by potential side effects.
