I don't need to read anything. Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990 leading to the first Gulf War in 1991. The incident involving the SAS occurred in 2005. Where's the connection? All i was merely pointing out, originally, was that Corbyn was one of those who voted against the Blair/Bush phoney war. If you're going to *** someone off, at least have the full facts at hand.

Ha!! I've been a member of AB since 2010 and you're just the 3rd person to wrongly pigeon hole me. Last time it happened was about 3 years back. I am what people like to call a 'floating voter', Bobbisox. My colours are never nailed to any particular mast. In the past i've voted for Labour. I've voted Tory and, in the Euro elections, i voted for old 'tortoise head' Farage. I have had a go at politicians of all persuasions on these pages - but i've always endeavoured to get my facts straight beforehand. Unlike some on here who form their opinion on a newspaper headline.

I may have you all wrong but you tend to come across as a tad aggressive in you’re approach, but for the record, I too have voted for all 3 major parties but nothing anyone will say to me on here or otherwise, would see me casting a vote for an IRA sympathiser, someone who refused to wear the poppy, someone who doesn’t want the monarchy yet asked for an audience with the Queen when BJ prorogued Parliament, someone who said on record he would not press the button if we came under attack, someone who will scrap Trident, that said I will respect your point of view and not resort to terse answering

Not just you, Bobbisox. There are a few on here who do so, some of whom actually post a link which they quite obviously haven't read all the way through. Just one of my pet hates and, because i'm at a loose end, i chose to pick up on it. Had there been more than 2 race meetings, i wouldn't have had the time:-)

My MP is a remainer and our constituency voted leave by a decent margin. When I emailed her to remind her of that I got no reply...

As I said, and repeat, if Iraq had kept their nose clean in the first place, and left Kuwait alone, and not deliberately provoked other countries, none of this would be happening. Also I am truly sorry for not being up to the very high standard expected from a few posters. It must be the way one was dragged up from birth. :0(
