Has anyone found a brand of reed diffusers that actually last? I find the smell goes from them long before the oil is used up (even though I turn the sticks over). My cousin said something about ones from Aldi being OK but I haven't tried them.

It might not be the oil but your sense of smell. Nose blindness really is a thing. https://www.thecut.com/2014/08/why-cant-you-smell-your-own-home.html
I find Rituals are long lasting and have some lovely fragrances.

I have several in the house since last Christmas. All still distributing perfume.

Thanks for the answers. It's only for the bathroom so I don't want to spend much. I know the Neom ones last well but I don't fancy spending much.
I've always found the M&S ones to last a while.
I also like the Rituals ones because of their shape, they’re tall and thin and fit well in the downstairs loo where I have them. As the door is always kept closed, the perfume is lovely when you open it.
I was given a Magma London one last Christmas, it's only half gone and still fills a large living room (about £25). On the whole I reckon you get what you pay for and in the long run cheaper ones work out more expensive.
Well said, Prudie.

I bought one in Robinsons department store in Singapore once. It had a smell that was exactly like a sort of spa smell. It wasn't a Singapore brand - it was from the West. It lasted for ages. Never managed to find the same again.
