Wednesday. Woke up an hour ago, couldn't get of the kip again, so been doing odd jobs about the place. Doesn't look any different!
Going to annoy the shopkeepers in Wotton-under-Edge today. There's a shop there that is the only place I know that sells what I want. Might have lunch in The Royal Oak while I'm there, not been in there for a while. In fact the last time was with Vera.
Have a happy day everyone.

I'm going to make as move. some things to do before I venture out into this unaccustomed sunshine.

Have a happy day everyone.
Yes had a bit of a frank conversation yesterday ref appealing the DWP's decision which got heated, but all is well now and whilst I was out gave Jen a chance to go through paperwork, and when I got home she was more positive about the appeal. Poor people on Isle of Man got the worst of the storm judging by pics I've just seen on TV.
If I had a spare 750k perhaps, ummmm - it will take 300 to 450 todo it up (and the gardens) - the house needs pulling back to its bones - and there are a couple of features to be revealed like Georgian fireplaces. The rest would go to using the footfall of an old building at the back to build some more rooms and I would also add a large orangerie off the kitchen, using a garden dividing wall on one side and then in steel and glass.... As to attachment, I didn't grow up here and I effectively left home just as I turned 17.
DTC sounds like house is a project in waiting for someone.
very much a good do-me-upper - the recent structural survey for the buyers showed that there was nothing fundamentally wrong with the house, so that was good news - strip back, rewiring and plumbing and I would go for some reconfiguration of bathrooms and around the kitchen/pantry area - opening the pantry up into the kitchen area like those glass cheese shops in farmer-stores as there are some wonderful slabs in there.

Any way, better be dashing, things to be done (understatement) and have a goodd day, all
Santiago de Chilé? Seriously? I'm hoping to be there in 2021 as part of my honeymoon.

Have you been up San Cristobal Hill yet?
