Animal Rebellion....

more disruption in London for the next 2 weeks, by an offshoot of Extinction Rebellion hoping to convert us all (by force if necessary, allegedly) to compulsory veganism.

and, in the interests of political balance, the organisation's own release:- https:/ /rebell ion.ear th/even t/octob er-anim al-rebe llion/
would you be ok with having a diet forced on you, if you knew it was being done only because you clearly didn't know what's good for you?

Being Vegan is very extreme - I am not at all sure that I would like that
These protesters are probably the people who raid breeders, Labs etc. Just like these people:

I eat very little red meat, not for any ethical or moral reasons, purely because I dont particiularly like. I eat chicken and fish because I like them..I wont change one bit becasue a bunch of rabid leftie fascists have decided they are going to tell me how to live my life and what i can/cant/should/shouldnt eat...like extinction rebellion, sooner they are extinct the better, I'll cheer when it happens
These ignorant loonies might as well shoot themselves in the foot. I say ignorant as most of them are totally unaware some of the plant based things they eat cause huge damage to the environment. Also anyone who thinks eating a fried egg is eating a baby chicken, or adding honey to your diet is cruel to bees cannot expect to be taken seriously.
Why did the vegan cross the road? To tell you she was a vegan.
How do you spot a vegan at a party? You don't need to, he'll tell you.
Vegans are attention seekers - they labour under the wrong assumption they are morally superior to those of us who have the temerity to enjoy eating animals. They couldn't be more wrong.
Pretty much every argument they have, from environmental impacts to morality, fail under the merest of scrutiny.
They are best either ignored because of their idiocy, or ridiculed because of their idiocy.
I have no problem with vegans who keep themselves to themselves - it would be arrogant otherwise, but I do have an issue with the vegans who have the breathtaking arrogance to preach to others how they should live their lives.
Frankly, they are pathetic.
