Good Morning Early Birds!

Sunday. It was pleasent on the canal yesterday. Not a lot of visitors, but we were competing with various sports events on the TV. The visitors we did have were lovely. Another one that has lived locally all her life and didn't know we were there! She and herd family have now joined the trust and want to be volunteers. Her hubby wants to train to be boat crew, she wants to be in the visitor centre. I asked the duty boat crew to take hi on one of the short trips, which they did, while herself stayed in the Visitor Centre with us to see what goes on. I think they will be an asset.
My mate treated me ro a meal at The Old Forge when we finished.

Have a good one, all......I'll be back on in 30 minutes but the car is crying out for its weekly feed (a £6 off voucher on my loyalty card) and then to the Inn for a coffee and to read the Sunday papers.....
