We buy all our meat and fish reduced. We bought a chest freezer for that very purpose. When I make, say, a fish pie, I'll use 4 packs of different fish and freeze into 15 little portions for my little Boo Boo. We must save a fortune over the course of a year.
Not that I recall. Google tells me they're made with the yeast "foam or scum formed on the top of a fermenting liquid, such as beer, wine, or feedstock for spirits or industrial ethanol distillation". Well that's waste not want not. Found out the oven bottom is a muffin. Going to check mithering next, think I've come across it before but no idea what that means.
TBH - I don't even look at the prices, let alone look for reductions. I just buy what I want. I did go to Tesco instead of Sainsburys for a bottle of Woolite the other day because it was cheaper though.
