Then the post is deemed cannot be retrieved
Does the reported post still receive attention?
Or is it conveniently dead and gone?

Getting the thread back on track rather than folk slinging sh... I mean mud at each other... //The Ed won't reply to it, jordy// This, to me, is the problem. If there was just a line from the Ed or a mod, to explain why a thread has been deleted, even if it is a replication on the mod to Ed reason for deletion note, then it would end a loot the confusion and unhappiness....

Editors can see any posts or entire threads that have been removed, review them and reverse the removal if necessary.
We don't respond to queries about why a thread was removed because it would be time consuming - yes, it might take a minute to tap out a sentence about why it was removed, but that may open us up to subsequent replies from a member saying they disagree or it's unfair because xyz and that's when it becomes time consuming, so we don't enter into these discussions at all. If something is removed it's because it broke Site Rules.
