£170,221,000 jackpot

Such a sum is somewhat likely to "destroy" one's life I would imagine - unless you give 99% away instantly to charities (after perhaps investing £10m to bring in a nice regular income).

I agree it's too much. That's why I don't buy a ticket. As I heard someone say on the radio "I could be king of Cheltenham. The trouble is I don't know anyone in Cheltenham"

Never too much.

If money can change you that much, then your compass isn't well established.
It wouldn't destroy my life.
It would destroy mine.. but it would also replace it with a much better one! ;)

Money won't buy happiness but it will make being miserable a lot better!
I seriously wouldn't want to win that much money. I am quite well off now after receiving half of my parents inheritance and I don't know how to spend all that, I have everything I need! I would definitely give a lot of that away to deserving causes and people.
It's a ridiculous amount of money. I couldn't even spend the interest. It would be much better if they made several millionaires out of people than giving all of that to one person. I hope it turns out to be a syndicate that won the money.
I think it would be more beneficial shared between 350 people. There is only so much money that any one person will need, even if they pass it on.
I agree with people saying they would give some away. However, i'd do that first hand. Screw the charities.

"Akon Lighting Africa"

Something similar to that ^

I would NEVER give any of it to a money grabbing charity that has a CEO who earns 60% of the charities income.
It wouldn't destroy my life. I would help those dear to me, possibly donate a good chunk to whatever school my son went to, the Cancer Unit where I work, etc.

I would also donate a fair bit to animal rescue centres.
£60,000 per WEEK at minimal interest rates. I think I would become a well-loved benefactor!

Someone once said "I've been rich & I've been poor. Rich is better!"
Having so much money when we are not used to it must be very stressful. I would employ an expert on how to distribute the cash to family, friends, charities.
No such thing as too much if I have the winning ticket.
People say this should be divided in to lots of smaller prizes - it probably will be, but the winner gets to do the dividing!
