Seems like a very nice man.
I recall a Colchester (I think) platform announcer getting into trouble saying "I'm not sure for how long the 7.23 to Liverpool Street will be delayed, but copies of War and Peace are available from the bookshop."

Think we can guess what this guy's job used to be.

It's nice that some companies allow their announcers to say what they want and not read from a script (and "performance manage" them if they don't)
