Just a little music to (hopefully) brighten your evening:

Jaroslav Ježek was a Czech composer, somewhat in the style of Scott Joplin, whose compositions were (like Joplin's) at the 'classical' end of the jazz spectrum. Bugatti Step is one his finest works and a favourite of mine. It was written for piano but here the talented Czech folk group Druhá Tráva ('Second Grass') give it their own unique twist.

I love Banjo Music. My father bought me a Plectrum G Banjo similar to the one in that clip when I was about 11years.
I like Scott Joplin but my favourite Czech tune is this. I prefer big band and particularly the crescendo in this song.Doesn't matter to me if you don't understand Czech.

I first heard it when I saw the film Vanishing Point when I was about eighteen, and I bought the soundtrack. It was the second album I ever bought, and still play it today, it has a great selection of diverse music.
