We want an ecommerce website built but am astonished by how much they cost. Can anybody recommend a website designer who is good but inexpensive. Thanks

I could, but he's a relative of mine and I don't want to be zapped for advertising.

Hmm I suppose anyone answering this question then will be 'zapped'. Is there no private messaging or anything (sorry not very experienced with this)

Nobody will mind if you provide a link to your relative's service. It's only when people deliberately post a question under one name, and then 'answer' it under another one (in order to advertise their goods or services) that the Ed gets upset. I know that the Ed trusts you, so you shouldn't have any problems.

I'll stick my neck out and suggest you build your own, because if you use a wysiwyg site builder like blue voda for example ( not advertising just suggesting since my little girl whose 13 built her first ecommerce site using that and it's worked pretty well). They're simpler than you would think.
