i want to remove a program called "download accelerator plus" and also one or two other programs but they do not appear in the Add/remove programs list
By your last answer I think you've misunderstood Ratter's advice. Are you sure you're not right-hand clicking and choosing 'Delete' from the list of options? Usually if an undelete program doesn't display it, it means it has it's own uninstall program which you gain access to, as Ratter said from the Start Menu.
also wideboy your answer would be very helpful but the said download accelerator plus wont let me download anything which is the problem so i cant download the cc program

it just says download accelerator plus has added the link to the queue, please press the back button to continue browsing but there should be no queue anyway
Even if the shortcut to the uninstall program is no loger available, the program itself should still be there. Assuming that the program was installed to the default folder, it should be at C:\Program Files\DAP\DapRemove.exe. Double-click on that file and DAP should be uninstalled.
