Yes webbo, but the majority of these people have not arrived from places where their "...parents and brothers have been murdered and tossed into a mass grave and they are looking for you to do the same, while raping your young sisters." They've usually arrived from the near Continent where such atrocities are, shall we say, somewhat less common. They've arrived from places where no such perils threaten them and where they could, if they were so minded, apply for asylum there. They choose not to do so because for reasons best known to them they want to settle in the UK. The asylum system does not work like that. This country needs to enforce the rules laid down in the UN Convention on Status of Refugees and, though less important, the EU's Dublin Agreement.
