Need Help To Unlock A Win 10 Laptop

It is my son's laptop and he changed the password a week ago. now the computer refuses accepting the password we input. We checked the keyboard, caps, etc but still not working.

If the one you input is not the new one it won't work with the old one.

You obviously know what you think the password should be. Can you try combinations of how it might have been mis-typed?

Did the password have any characters in it eg. £ $ etc.?

If so there is a possibility that the keyboard is set for US before you get into your account, after which it will be set to UK. Some characters are in different locations on US or UK keyboards.

forgot your pin ? usually comes up at log in ..so easy enough to reset !
