hope you can understand this question sorry if its been asked before and if its simple to others, could one person be more than one ab user at a time [no spilt personality jokes please!] and how easy is it to change from one user name to another, i can remember a thread before about certain user and people were guessing that they were somone else as well, i never asked then, i thought i,d wait till it all calmed down a bit first i never quite got the gist of it all if sombody would be good enough to enlighten me i would be so greatful thanks.

Yes it 's easy, a few people on here have a few names, you only need different e-mail and hey presto, I only have one name on here but I do have 4 e-mail names,1 for work,1 for friends etc, on some servers you can have up to about 10

thanks wonder woman the company is delivering my new cooker today so i have to stay in beetween 9-5 then go to work at 5.30 so as a treat i might stop on answer bank allday seens as i cant go out , and thanks ray and fee i think i understand abit better now , but would,nt the ed know if you were more than one person and would he allow this?

wonder years, i had a different user name when i joined ('purpose') but decided to change it a few months ago. As i have more than one email addy, i simply set up the new one with a different address (as ray said), so for about 5 mins i was 2 people on here as i wanted to make sure my new one 'worked', if that makes sense.

In theory, i could have kept quiet about it and posted as 2 different people without anyone knowing.

it would seem some users have more than one name just recently i was accussed [wrongly] of using another name and was subjected to a barrage of abuse and insults which was totally unnecessary and quite disturbing to read im sure not just for me but young people who use the site
