Cancer support network
5 Answers
Hi everyone, this isn't a question, more a suggestion!
A friend of mine has set up an online support network for anyone who has been affected by cancer. Please spread the word to anyone you think could find this of help: http://www.cancerbuddiesnetwork.org/
The website is for everyone, not just those with cancer, but for partners, children, parents, friends etc. It is supported by Macmillan Cancer Trust, and provides a new database to people to get in touch to share experiences.
Best wishes

My friend set this one up because her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, and her mother ended up doing a lot of work for/with Macmillan. She couldn't believe that a database for networking had never been established before despite the shocking numbers of people diagnosed with cancer and living with cancer each year. That is why Macmillan helped fund this site, and I hope that it helps as many people as possible.
