Anyone received their winter fuel allowance this year.
I know it starts being paid from start of November

(A contributor to this thread says that they're not: https:/ /forums .moneys avingex pert.co m/showt hread.p hp?t=28 2004 ). If there's any logic to the order of payments (which, with a Government agency, would seem to be unlikely anyway) it's more likely that either the oldest people get the payments first (simply because their names were added to the lists of eligible people first) or that National Insurance numbers are used to determine the order.
The only official information would appear to be this: "Most payments are made automatically between November and December. You should get your money by 13 January 2020"

Got mine the other day dated 10/11/2019. It says :-
" We are making these payments over a number of weeks from November so people may get their payment at a different time, even if they are living at the same address. We aim to make all payments by Christmas."
My account is in my maiden name, which begins with a G and is earlier in the alphabet than his. This may have something to do with it.-------- or not! :)
Mr J2 is still awaiting his (obviously we get £100 each, rather than him getting £200).
