Suggestions For A Book Prezzie

I always give a book at Christ mas to a young man who is a great friend of one of my grandson. He is 28 a very bright young man interested in world affairs, human rights, history - actual and fictional - and most "good" fiction. I mention the fact that he has Cerebral Palsy and walks with difficulty only because some books might be inappropriate e.g. 100 Places to see before you die etc. Any thoughts welcomed thank you.

It is extremely difficult to choose a book for someone else. Give a book token and then he can select one for himself.

I remember now - Lindsey Hilsum used to do war reporting for Ch4 news. An excellent foreign correspondent. Yes I could give a Book Token. I've always found just the right thing in the past but this year I'm stumped.

SPQR: A History of Ancient Rome by Mary Beard.

A very readable history and classics book.

I would say Book Token as well ! No chance of giving something they don't like !

Maybe a bit, "Mahnolia / Vanilla," but one of the best book I ever read was David Copperfield.
