no you can't, but i'm not sure if theres a period of time like "rehabilitation of offenders" where your past is wiped clean, but i don't think so, any way your probably be old by them

Note the word 'may' (and not 'must') in that quote. While all police forces have to comply with general Home Office guidelines relating to the employment of police officers, each force has a good deal of discretion regarding its exact requirements. The only way that you'll get a definite answer to this question is to contact your local police recruitment office.

I thought it just stopped you become a senior rank. I work for Local Government and if I went bankrupted I know I could not become a Chief Exec or a MP...but it doesn't effect less senior roles!
