One of my great granddaughters has to have an EEG and an MRI scan because of suspected temporal lobe epilepsy.
She is a very lively little lass and I'm wondering how this procedure is done on a child. She is four years old. Will she have some sort of mild sedation?
Thanks for any thoughts.

This is a series of 4000 sedations in children under ten with five critical incidents

which is kinda you know safe

[the thing about safety series is that you have to track all the cases and not just the critical incidents - it is terribly time consuming]
