Have You Booked For New Year's Eve Yet?

We have done it today. We are going back to a hotel in Taunton where we went two years ago. this includes two nights board, dinner on 30th, festive dinner dance on NYE. Two breakfasts and afternoon tea on arrival on 30th. Also bubbly NYE. All for £249 for two in a luxury ensuite bedroom.
We intend to do a trip on the steam train again. There are six of us going again, we had a super time last time so am sure we will again.

We always go away for New Year. Couldn't go away for Christmas just doesn't seem right but New Year yes. Last year was New York and that was a disappointment. This year we are going to Gran Canaria

Mumstheword, went to NY twice in December ,2003 and 2018, first time we loved it, the tree in the Rockefeller centre ,the Statue of Liberty ,always vowed we’d go back, big disappointment, it wasn’t as good but maybe that’s because we’d done all the things you do in NY the first time

Yes maybe Bobbisix we first went June 2015 and loved it. We had a romantic vision of strolling around Central Park when all frosty/snowing. But it rained and rained 3 out if 5 days we were there, the wettest New Year in 24 years. Loads of road closures meant getting around was a nightmare. But hey

We were there between Christmas and new year....and I think half the planet were as well,you got jostled and had to queue everywhere with temps-15 degrees on the ground
