Not Sure Where This Should Go --- Ab Ed? Memories Need Cofirmation.

We are in the horrible throes of making our Wills. I am, therefore, given to introspection and memories.
I remember a rhyme from the mid '50s when I visited Grandma in Govan, Mum rather disapproved so I think it must have been 'Common'. It goes to the tune of 'The British Grenadiers'. I'll try to spell phonetically - I must have learned from the local kids - anyone else remember it? I hope I'm not the last person to remember it.
'As I walked doon to Glascae toon
I met wee Jock O'Hara.
I ga'ed him a lick o' ma stick o rock
And he gave me a hurl in his barra.
Noo the bonny, wee barra's mine
It disnae belong to the O'Hara -
For the fly, wee Jock he stuck to my rock
And I'm goona stick to his barra!'
