Unsure what point's being made. If a company goes bust you look the world over for a good deal replacement. Got now't to do with taking control. As doesn't most threads here trying to mock regaining sovereignty.
De La Rue has suffered because it has failed to adapt to changing habits when it comes to money. It's nothing to do with "taking back control". Governments deal with companies that give them the best terms. If they don't happen to be British that's too bad.
Taking back control means we decide who we do business with and for what products and services and the prices we negotiate..If we decide to use a foreign country to make a product or provide a service etc then its our decision...nobody else can tell us who we can or cant do business with and at what price we negotiate for said products etc...Thats control...so what part of that dont you get me old china ?

the bit,me awl chyne, where if you want to sell in the EU you have to obey EU product rules without any say in them, and where if you want to sell in the US, you have to pay off the Trump family with half the NHS
so yeah after Brexit - let us be FREE in the New World !
South Sudan has a climate similar to an Equatorial or tropical climate, characterized by a rainy season of high humidity and large amounts of rainfall followed by a drier season.
Maybe not the ideal holiday destination for sure but no areas designated as desert, some dry bits around the margins.
The only time I ever use cash, now, is when giving it to the children. Otherwise, it is unnecessary and I think once young children all get prepaid cards, cash will be obsolete.
Apart from massive jobs loss in Debden we can still print and mint.
Pobjoys have been known to print notes for other countries and they certainly mint currency. A British concern to boot.
I wonder which part of taking back control is beyond some people. canary’s post is a point in case.
We can determine who gets contracts to do specific things. If a company outside the UK can do a better job or equal job for less money we get to chose to give that contract to the foreign company. It’s not rocket science Canary.
In fact it is the very clear show of Brexit really. We become global rather than single market.
