Andrew Neil hosts his weekly politics show on BBC2 tonight. He interviews Boris John next Tuesday or Wednesday (don't think the date's been finalised).
If one wants the answer to a question, rather than the "Party Line", then Andrew Neil is the only interviewer......the best since the iconic Brian Waldron.
It may take time, it may take tenaciousness, but if you want the answer....then Andre Neil is the man. I have watched his interviews on TV for well over 25 years.
I've never really liked Andrew Neil, he tends to keep cutting people off and fires questions like bullets without giving the person a chance to answer. I actually felt a bit for Jezza last night, he rarely got a chance to finish a point. I suspect Bojo will go the same way. TBH though Paxo was no different and I don't know how Marr even get's on the TV.
yep, Jezza kept saying "let me finish" and he kept remarkably calm, I'd have just sat in silence and waited for the pauses and then said, "have you finished talking now? would you like me to answer the question?"
TTT...."let the interviewee, finish what one was NOT asked.",,in other words to continue the b,,ullsh,t.
No that is not my idea of an interview of that nature.
I look forward to the ANv BJ interview.
Not really. Although I was forced to watch the start of the Corbyn one due to someone sleeping on my shoulder and the =_€£/%^&# remote being out of reach :-(
