Good news but it will be hard to enforce, most of the men will continue to do what sharia dictates - it works to their advantage.
The ousted regime was an Islamic dictatorship, conflating sharia with 'public order' was just a way to drag the non-muslim minorities into line (typically, only the wealthy were 'above the law').
