Getting Wax Off Knitwear
5 Answers
Hi ABers out there, I managed to get candlewax over the sleeve of my woolly jumper last night at a dinner party, and haven't the faintest how to get it off. Any ideas? Don't want to put it in the washing machine really .... hope you can help, many thank, Chox.

The wax should dislodge and float off - but don't catch it when lifting the item out of the water. Float the wax off by adding water to the container until it overflows and sluices off the wax. The whole operation can be done in a bath or suitable basin.
