Last month's thread is here.

November is upon us and here at AB Towers we're experiencing some horrible rain.

This means our Gnomes are going out less, and staying in more! This is affecting their weight and lifestyle.

How are you staying active, now that the weather is becoming bleak?

Cheers SpEd.

Wind & rain. I'm not particularly active all year round, I should do something about it but finding the enthusiasm is too much hassle. I'll just continue trying not to eat too much over the cold dark seasons.
Thanks Ed. I go out just as much but what a to do with all the extra clothes we have to put on. My weight has gone up 4 kilos......at the moment I'm at the …….I better do something about it, but have done nothing.
Turns out I'm up 0.2 lbs compared to last time. Perhaps tomorrow will be more favourable.
Just out of interest (maybe), I have been going to an Aquatone class twice a week since July. I have not lost any weight, in fact, I have gained a couple of pounds but have lost centimetres from those important places. :-)
I go to aqua aerobics weekly, it's great workout, for anyone housebound due to bad weather or family/domestic reasons, I find a walk with Leslie Sansone on YouTube is fab, you can walk a mile in 10 mins and it's fun, it's all walking exercise for anyone that's up to it
Well done ducksie and Tilly x
Ah, back down 0.2 lbs today.
Thanks RR :) I was down 6 half pound this week... I swear it's the pool and that YouTube walk :)
2.5 kilos this week but that’s down to not eating
That's what usually causes it :-D
Good morning all, well done Tilly 2. I would guess than your extra weight (if you’re eating healthily) could be muscles gain.
I had a binge of about 2 months on popcorn. It was easy, filled me up and I’d gone completely off my more sensible lunches. I’ve come to my senses again and the scales are giving me a pat on the back. This in turn puts me in the feel good zone so bye bye popcorn. Oh yes and the sensible things taste good again.
pre diabetes second meeting, first weigh in. 9½ lbs lost, so now below where I was when I went off track. Smashing exercise targets.
Good morning all, going down so feeling full of myself.
Are you licking your chops with the thoughts of the Christmas goodies? Maybe I shouldn’t say that on here!
Another 3lbs this week. Not worried about Christmas just yet but I am normally ok except where mince pies are concerned. So I will make them and freeze them defrost just one at a time. My big Christmas treats tend to be of the expensive luxury variety. E.g really special coffee, maybe a few nice cheeses which I can fit into my WW points
Down 5 lb over the last week.
Another 2lb this week, so that's a stone and 5% of my starting bodyweight. Feeling pretty pleased as I am starting to feel the difference mainly in my knees.
Good morning all, I forgot to get weighed today but on Friday I was on my way down and I can’t see any reason why I should have gone up since then. Christmas cheer is already in the air.....luv it!
