Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

a) La and Lad are used frequently to refer to men in general as in .........Alright la(lad) 'ere in scouseland.
c) Harry the Haddock I think.
d) Joe Louise was nicknamed The Brown Bomber.

Hello there sussexgirl ...
a. Blood Brothers (as in the musical)
On the left of screen, under topics, you will find 'search the site' In this case if you enter 'lincs and notts quiz' you will get up on the screen all past questions and discussions. It will be worth a look as some of these have either been answered or discussed before.
Also it helps anyone doing the same quiz if you number the questions as they appear on the quiz.I know I have got an answer to c. but I have lost the will trying to find it on my sheet. Hope this helps. xx

Thanks everybody, especially earthakitten. I am new to this site - as you can probably tell - and your info was great. Quite a few of my unanswered clues don't appear elsewhere though! Anyone else got any ideas?

Hi again ... just keep checking your original question. We all keep browsing for hours and days sometimes. Someone might yet answer you. I do think you may have problems with Crafty Boy ... This one has never been answered, I think, so it seems to have us all foxed. or someone is keeping the answer close to their chest as it appears to be a hard one. I don't have that one either.
Yes we can tell you are new ... you are green !!
