I knew the NHS was in a bad way, but today heard some terrible accounts of just how bad it has become.
Really didn't want to vote for Corbyn, but don't think we can afford any more Tory management of the health service.
Will the NHS figure in your voting choice?
I know many with type 2 and not one is overweight let alone obese!
I’m really interested in knowing what all these treatments are.
As for WW and SW they encourage overeating
some of the fattest people i have seen lately work in one well known London hospital. Nurses so big they couldn't get through a single door, i kid you not.
Anyone can see that this snide comment was casually thrown in the pond to cause ripples.
I doubt it was accidentally phrased.
//the numbers of people needing treatment due to obesity problems,(do they catch it at the food banks?)//
The problems within the NHS are myriad as already mentioned, including the fact that the progress in diagnosis and treatment is too rapid to be kept up with given the constraints of the system.
too many people trying to access a service that wasn't designed to try and cater for so many. With myriad complex problems, no wonder the doctors complain......

You have your logic the wrong way round, Rocky. Many people who are seriously overweight may go on to develop diabetes. But not all people who develop diabetes are seriously overweight. All peas are green but not everything that’s green is a pea.
There are a small number of people who are overweight because of a medical condition. The vast majority are in that condition because too much food (often of the wrong type) goes into their mouths for the level of energy they are expending. They must either reduce their intake, up their exercise or do both. You don’t need a medical professional to tell you that.
Naomi - people use food/drugs as some sort of comfort.
I worked in a psychiatric hospital and the majority of addictions have deep rooted reasons. Alcohol, drugs, food help numb feelings, even if it's only temporary.
