. . . that while MPs are (because of the election) barred from attending parliament, peers continue to come and go. Apparently they are not however allowed to claim the usual £305 tax free daily attendance allowance when the House of Cronies isn't sitting. But the beneficial perk of free parking in Central London does still apply of course. Bless Their Lordships.
