We both thought that if all these rabid Remainers had just kept quiet we would have had May's BRINO forced on us - which would have been such an awful state of affairs, that, depressed, we would have applied to rejoin and the EU would have punished us heavily. A close-run thing, phew!
But of course, in their supreme arrogance, they believed that every obstructive step the took was simply a step on the way to complete abandonment of Brexit. Ms Miller in particular is on record as saying soon after the vote that the result made her "physically sick". So there is no truth in her continued assertions that she was only taking the actions she took "to ensure Parliamentary democracy prevailed." In fact that was far from the truth.
Their arrogance clouded their judgement because they should have realised that you don't mess with the UK electorate.

Isn't it delicious to savour. The comeuppance of the devious anti democracy Remainiacs. They are cut from the same cloth as the 5th column sleepers that infest our establishment machine, and who are far too fond of telling us that "lessons will be learned" when we catch being negligent or downright, and deliberately remiss. Well they may have learned a lesson, but it was the great British public who had to serve it up to the gits. We may have to serve it up again, and again until they get the message. What a though. Miller and the duplicitous EUSSR facilitators made a proper Brexit not only possible, but inevitable. Think enantiodromia and enjoy the warm glow, whilst they seethe with angst.
Not only that.....the obvious plotting and misinformation campaign that was meant to flummox the British voter did the exact opposite and concentrated the minds of the despised and underestimated "ordinary" voter. A big derision laden round of applause for the Beep Beep See as well is perhaps in order. Just think we could be locked into the EUSSR ponzi scheme with years of the sterile government of Treason May's leadership and at the mercy of the drunkards in charge of the rapidly failing project dreamt up by criminals to exploit millions of citizens.........The EUSSR.

The gobbledegook generator is awake again. Boris could well be our supreme leader for 20 years. By which time he may well have exceeded such a piffling little sum when it is all added up. Steady start with £1.8billion. Nuuuurssse.

//I would imagine Miller as well as Swintons hubby had investments/companies tied in the EU hence the reason for their hysterical rants about stopping Brexit.//
Here's an article about Alan and Gina Miller, written in 2012, long before Brexit was a twinkle in Nigel Farage's eye. You can make up your own mind whether their finances might fare with the UK in or out of the EU:

Mr Swinson (aka Duncan Hames) is a strange fish. He trained as an accountant before becoming a local councillor. In 2010 he was elected as a Lib Dem MP and was PPS to Nick Clegg. Since being chucked out in the 2015 election he has risen to become acting Executive Director of something called "Transparency International". That is an organisation which devotes itself to seeking out and addressing global corruption. I imagine, therefore, the EU is of interest to him from that viewpoint. But it may be that, according to its accounts on its own website, in 2018 Transparency International received £3,463,555 from the European Commission.
