I'm probably on a loser posting this, as I tend to get negative responses when I post stuff that's either sung by kids or in a foreign language. So a video from Austrian boy Luca Stangl, singing in his native German, might not be to everyone's taste.
However I really love this, and I can't stop playing it, so I'm hoping that at least one or two people might find it as beautiful as I do:
I'm sure any negativity isn't meant unkindly - I like many parents have spent decades listening to children sing around me (4 decades in my case) and most of the time love it.
Just now and then though prefer a grown up voice and for me preferably in a language I understand, although many songs don't translate well.
As much as I love opera and appreciate beautiful music in general, I find myself dancing around supermarkets with Slade, Wizzard, sleigh bells ding-a-linging in the snow, and all the other supposedly cheesy stuff. There's nothing wrong with fun and jolly - well, not for me at least.
I wish more supermarkets and shopping centres would actually play some decent Christmas music, Naomi (and I'm definitely including Slade, Wizzard, etc in that category). Instead many of them seem to play obscure Christmas songs, both badly arranged and badly performed - they drive me crackers!
