I hope to be having a goose round about 5pm - and then dinner shortly afterwards ...

Seriously though, folks, - only two of us, so a stuffed goose breast and all the trimmings (yes, there will be Yorkshire Puddings) - then some fancy mince pies and a glass or three of something medicinal.
Oh I couldn't have duck Baz, that would be like eating one of the family :)
The morning crowd (neighbours and friends 25 altogether) have just left, lunch will be ready around 3ish. Then slob out around the TV. Looking forward to Gavin and Stacey - tidy.
We've not long had our eggs and smoked salmon.

Goose is cooking and everything ready to go...
Our gathering has fallen foul of flu, winter vomiting bug and IT support required for 24hr banking.

I'm currently doing my best to make sure the wine bottles are dry when hoyed into the recycling.
Boned out turkey crown, wrapped around a boned out pheasant crown wrapped around a brace of partridge breasts, all with sausage meat stuffing inbetween, coming up shortly when the roasties get crunkly enough...
Washed down with a bottle of Minervois. Trifle after.
Roast duck with home made parsley thyme and lemon zest stuffing, pigs in blankets, sprouts, runner beans, onion potatoes, home made gravy with Grand Marnier and a bottle of pink Laurent Perrier. Leftovers to be eaten tomorrow (minus any alcohol) Quite late tonight
