Hi all, apologies for my ignorance but if you had any sort of cancer would it be detected after a full blood count?

It really depends on what the blood is sent to be tested for. Some tests will detect cancer markers and there are some specific tests for leukaemia etc. A full blood count is usually done for a physical, insurance etc. or before and after surgery and childbirth.

Some cancers take time to show up in bloods.
