I haven't done one for years but really enjoyed them - I might think about a portable doodah, as opening up the drop-leaf table would take up too much room now...
I bought a couple of Christmas ones last year and finished the second one of them on Christmas morning. It will now go to the charity shop. I have two more lined up. I like the 500 piece ones with small pieces. My sister does the 1000 piece ones and she had one that didn't have a picture to be guided by - I wouldn't have fancied that.
I love jigsaw puzzles. When I was younger I used to get the 1000 piece classic art ones. Still got the up in my loft. I've also got some 1000 piece Disney and other colourful art ones.
My brother bought me a 3D Game of Thrones one last year.
I used to be partial to a Jigsaw myself. Would hover just over my Mother's shoulder when she started a new one, and would help out by sorting the border pieces for her. Then I'd find my hand dipping back in the box and picking out pieces that would go in the main picture! Stick a bit of music on through my Bluetooth Speaker and a few hours pass quite easily.
Went looking for one just before Christmas, but decided against buying it.
