I do but I can't be bothered to name 10 favourite songs. I have lots of favourites.
Will you still love me Tomorrow by the Shirelles 1961
The Blue Danube waltz by Andre Riue
March of the Hebrew Slaves by Nabucco
Smoke on the water by Deep Purple
Madame Butterfly aria

5?
Rock
Country and Western
Blues

Folk.
Metal - Enter Sandman - Metallica, Ace Of Spades - Motorhead

Blues - She Caught The Katie - Taj Mahal, The Messiah Will Come Again - Roy Buchanan

Soul - Drift Away - Dobie Grey, Papa Was A Rolling Stone - Temptations

Country - Sunday Morning Coming Down - Handsome Family, Always On My Mind - Willie Nelson

Diverse music styles? Apart from modern dance music, I'll listen to most genres if my mood takes me. I've seen all sorts live, from Billy Joel to Guns 'n' Roses.

As for some diverse tunes on my iTunes?
James Taylor - Sweet Baby James
John Cale - Paris 1919 (my all time favourite song)
Blur - To The End
The Divine Comedy - The Frog Princess
Elbow - One Day Like This
Faith No More - Epic
Disturbed - The Sound of Silence (is simply majestic)
XTC - Love On A Farmboys Wages
Billy Joel - Scenes From An Italian Restaurant
The Kinks - Autumn Almanac.

There are many more.

All good
//A Lady Of A Certain Age - The Divine Comedy//

A fellow Divine Comedy fan I see. Neil Gannon is the finest songwriter since Shane MacGowan in my view.
Gannon? Gannon even. Damn fat thumbs.
Hannon. Its not my thumbs, its my autocorrect. Gannon isn't even a blooming word!

Your turn Metalhead.
I like only one type of music - the music that I like. Genres / styles etc are irrelevant to me.

I'm about to post a Rush song on Mamya's thread followed by the new one by Josie Duncan. Categorisation and labelling is pointless.
R.I.P. Neil Peart, the greatest drummer who ever lived.

I love funk, soul, smooth jazz, old school reggae and music from groups like the Tenors.
Just beautiful!

Can't go into it all but here as five tunes from my Ipod. Intermezzo from Cavaleria Rusticana , Constantly by Cliff Richard, Two out of Three ain't bad by Meatloaf, Gabriels Oboe by Ennio Morricone and I'd Really Love to See You Tonight by Dan Eli and John Ford Coley. I like most forms of music apart from Jazz and heavy country.
