why is it that when i send for a brochure for expensive goods they contain everything I wish to know about the product but not the price, don't manufacturers understand the price is the most important point of consideration when spending money?
They usually have their web address printed in the brochure, often at the bottom every page, where you can go to find current prices.
Or sometimes they insert a loose sheet inside with latest prices which is useful for people who don't have access to the web.
People who want to purchase "expensive goods" are not that interested in the price....if they were that sensitive to prices, they wouldn't be considering "expensive goods" in the first place.
(That's my theory, anyway!)
Thank you all, gingejbee, you might be right, but when we needed a new lawnmower money was tight so we had to look carefully at prices.yes I must admit we got into trouble with a sales man when I needed an electric bed a few years ago, the man was here from 10am till 3-30pm and he only left when I gave him a cheque, I then phoned the bank to cancel it, then phoned the bed company and told them my very colourful thoughts.
