The symptoms have obviously been there for some time. But it doesn't make Ozzy any less "bright". He always had a great homespun turn of phrase, which is in some ways a trait of an entertainer. Rock on Ozzy. “Out of everything I've lost, I miss my mind the most!” ― Ozzy Osbourne

Yeah, I regretted the "son" almost immediately! Lol
//I can't help but like Ozzy.//

That is it in a nutshell Patsy...we all feel like that. Black Sabbath, and heavy rock in general, was never really my thing. Didn't mind it, could appreciate the skill sets and inventive riffs, but didn't actually seek out the genre or new releases . But you can't help just loving the daft Brummie who was never as daft as he would have us believe.
National Treasure!!! A drug addicted, alcoholic, screaming obscenities at ridiculous decibels to a head banging tribe of...insert appropriate.
As a role model he has twisted many a naive soul.
His chickens are no doubt roosting.
National Treasure my eye....
Perhaps you are indeed right Mr Small. The way that you construct a résumé suggests that he should have been a politician.....He would certainly have been at home with Corbyn and Watson. (¬_¬ )
I would recommend wathcing the World Detour programmes he did with his son.

David, it seems you've confused Ozzy Osbourne for George Osborne. Easy mistake. ;-)
Lol mozz71.
Well done Tuvok. The link goes on to point out that his illness is an inherited condition and nothing to do with copious ingestion of military grade drugs, vats of high proof alcohol, or all night partying and fornication whilst screaming like a banshee at all and sundry. I must show that to "She who must be obeyed " the next time she tries to cow me with health and behavioural warnings. (^///^)
When I first became a fan of Black Sabbath, I took to wearing a 6 inch crucifix. Unfortunately we weren't allowed any jewellery round our necks when in Number 2 Dress so I hung the crucifix on the screw that held a picture of a werewolf in place on the wall behind my bed. A VIP visited the barracks one sunny day in '72, took one look at the wall behind me, looked me straight in the eye and muttered, "Quite blasphemous, isn't it?" The question, of course, was rhetorical and Princess Anne moved swiftly on to the next room. Though my BSM took a very dim view of my wall decorations and told me he never wanted to see the werewolf or the crucifix ever again:-(
that's a shame. I likes Ozzy. What's not to like?
He's like one of those mates who drives you up the wall and across the ceiling but you'd do anything to protect him.
This thread had me re-reading some of I Am Ozzy last night. Togo, I think you missed Ozzy's best quote from his autobiography. "They said I would never write this book. Well **** 'em, 'cos here it is. All I have to do now is remember something. Rollocks (with a b), I can't remember anything." Not just the quote that makes me laugh but imagining him saying it in his Brummie accent. :-)
Ok lets get this straight. it is quite possible Ossy Osbourne's Parkinson's is alcohol related. That's a big pity, but it happens, there is a name for it but can't be bothered to Google it. I LOVE Ozzy, always done so since before the reality programmes.

Maggiebee sad you need to use a thread like this to have a dig -says more about you than me.

Mozz71 ditto as above with a suggestion you read my posts, the majority of which are not argumentative, complaining or nasty. I may argue my point , or heaven forbid have a different opinion to yourself, but I have never attacked you personally on here, which is more than can be said for you.

Ozzy is very lucky to have a wife that has stuck with him through bad times and good and I'm sure Sharon will give him the support he needs.

Well Polly, perhaps it's only threads we have both posted on, but I've seen little but negativity from you. However, if I am incorrect, I offer my apologies for my comment and look forward to it being proven wrong.
