You could drink Murphys . Not forgetting Irish whiskey of course' Some lovely beaches on NW coast, lovely villages, I believe fishings good. lots of pubs have good live music at night. And at this time of year you can pick the tastiest blackberries on country walks
I go there for the fishing, relaxation, people and scenery. I must admit there's not alot that's attractive these days for kids where I go, but it is pretty remote. Unless they like walking/fishing/pitch and putt/camping!
Try http://www.ireland.ie/Things%20to%20do.aspx ... sorry, try living there. It's probably the most fantastic country on Earth. No wonder they have populated every other country on Earth and every other person claims to be Irish!!!
i was thinking of taking the kids on a trip to dublin. Half an hour on a plane from blackpool.
But i might not bother now! I can't go drinking guiness all day with three kids in tow! (unfortunately)
There are plenty of places to go in Dublin, like every
where else you have to look around you and ask
around. Tourist Board/bus stations/train stations.
I have been there with the children many times and
we have all enjoyed being there
