What's the best kind of massage oil to use on somebody with a trapped nerve? Are there any that are particularly good at relaxing the muscles, easing pain etc?

The pharmacist suggested 'Neuragen' made by a company called Origin Biomed. I was sceptical because it's a liquid, and I wanted pills. Anyway, I bought it, took it home, and applied a couple of drops on my hip: 15 minutes later the pain was gone!! It's not cheap at $30 (around 15 pounds) for a small bottle, but well worth it...I think.
Sweet almond oil is one of the most popular massage oils among massage therapists. Extracted from almonds, sweet almond oil is pale yellow. The oil is slightly oily, which allows hands to glide easily over skin. Sweet almond oil absorbs fairly quickly, but not so quickly that you need to keep reapplying it.
