Aces Up
1 Answers
Recently my friends and I have been playing a really addictive game called Aces Up. Details on the actual game play are here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aces_Up
Is this game possible to win? Every description of the game I've found just says it's very difficult but none of us have won it yet and have been trying for quite a while now. I know having such low odds it's highly likely that none of us have just found the right combination but I'm starting to wonder whether it is actually possible :)

I have just completed a game with 46 cards discarded and with the face cards from left to right AD, AS, 8C and 5H - if the two aces had been Clubs and Hearts instead of Diamonds and Spades, the non ace cards would also have been discarded, leaving the four aces and a WIN! Good game - have to be patient though and lucky and I would also think there could be an amount of skill in deciding which of the piles you fill any spaces from - but my memory isn't clever enough to work that out so I would have to be lucky - as I so nearly just was!
